Charitable Status

SDG Global Impact Fund is a nonprofit organization recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions made to SDG Global Impact Fund are considered charitable gifts and may be tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Irrevocability of Contributions

All contributions to SDG Global Impact Fund are irrevocable. Once assets are donated, they become the property of SDG Global Impact Fund and may not be returned to the donor.

Organizational Control and Discretion

SDG Global Impact Fund retains full legal control and discretion over all contributed assets. While donors may recommend grants from donor advised funds, SDG Global Impact Fund maintains exclusive authority over all grant approvals in accordance with applicable laws and the organization’s charitable mission.

Investment of Charitable Assets

Assets held within donor advised funds, pooled income funds, or other charitable vehicles may be invested in accordance with the organization’s investment policies and applicable fiduciary standards.

As with all investments, the value of invested assets may fluctuate and may increase or decrease over time. No assurance can be made regarding future investment performance or the preservation of capital.

Tax Considerations

Donors may be eligible for charitable income tax deductions based on the fair market value of contributed assets and applicable Internal Revenue Service regulations. The amount of any deduction may depend on the nature of the contributed asset, the donor’s individual tax circumstances, and applicable statutory limitations.

SDG Global Impact Fund does not provide tax, legal, or financial advice. Donors should consult qualified professional advisors regarding the tax consequences of charitable contributions.

Grantmaking Compliance

Grants recommended through donor advised funds must be made to qualified charitable organizations consistent with applicable federal law and SDG Global Impact Fund policies. Grants may not be used to satisfy legally binding pledges or provide impermissible private benefits.

Asset Acceptance

SDG Global Impact Fund may accept a variety of charitable assets, including cash, publicly traded securities, and certain non-cash assets. All contributions are subject to review and acceptance in accordance with the organization’s Gift Acceptance Policy.

Administrative Oversight

SDG Global Impact Fund administers charitable programs in accordance with applicable federal and state regulations governing nonprofit organizations and charitable funds.

Changes to Policies

SDG Global Impact Fund reserves the right to modify policies, procedures, and program terms at any time in order to comply with applicable laws and organizational requirements.

    SDG Global Impact Fund, Inc. (Tax ID 41-3966108) is a Wyoming-based nonprofit public charity recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to SDG Global Impact Fund are irrevocable charitable gifts and may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. SDG Global Impact Fund retains full legal control and discretion over all contributed assets, including the approval and distribution of grants.

     

    Assets held in charitable funds may be invested in accordance with the organization’s investment policies and may be subject to market and valuation fluctuations. Investment values may increase or decrease over time, and past performance is not indicative of future results.

    In furtherance of its global charitable mission, SDG Global Impact Fund may collaborate with or support certain affiliated international entities, including SDG Global International Foundation, a foundation established under the Foundations Act, 2011 of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas. Such entities may hold, manage, or administer certain international assets or programs in support of global philanthropic initiatives aligned with the organization’s charitable purposes.

     

    SDG Global International Foundation is a separate legal entity organized under the laws of The Bahamas. Unless expressly stated otherwise, contributions made directly to the Foundation are not intended to qualify as charitable contributions for United States federal income tax purposes. Donors should consult their professional advisors regarding the tax treatment of contributions involving international entities or cross-border philanthropic structures.

    Certain charitable funds or programs administered by SDG Global Impact Fund or its affiliated international entities may hold or receive a variety of asset types, including traditional financial assets, privately held assets, digital assets, and international financial instruments. Such assets may be subject to regulatory, jurisdictional, liquidity, valuation, and market risks that may differ from those associated with traditional securities or cash contributions.
