Pooled Income Fund (PIF)
What is a PIF?
A Pooled Income Fund (PIF) is a charitable trust established under IRS §642(c)(5). Donors contribute assets to a professionally managed pool and receive income for life based on their share of the Fund. When the final income beneficiary passes away, the remaining value supports charitable purposes through SDG Global.
Unlike a simple one-time gift, a pooled income fund combines:
-
Lifetime income for you or your loved ones
-
Potential tax advantages
-
Long-term support for the causes you care about
-
The option to seed a Donor Advised Fund (DAF) at the end of the income interest

Why the SDG Global Pooled Income Fund?
The SDG Global PIF is designed for donors who want structured philanthropy, professional administration, and a clearly defined legacy.
